A Brasserie in bloom for Diptyque
As part of Chelsea Flower show’s annual ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ competition, Diptyque were briefed to create a floral display inspired by famous flowers on film. Our challenge was to choose a film to bring to life and express the brands personality.
Inspired by Diptyque’s Parisian routes the film Amelie was chosen, this felt like the perfect film to represent the brands artistic yet quirky identity.
Across the stores windows and facade iconic scenes from the film are protrayed through use illustrations and props and plants all inspired by the French cinematic classic.

In a nod to the central location of the film, vinyl graphics takeover the facade of the store as homage to the iconic Des 2 Moulins brasserie where Amelie works. Throughout the windows cascading ivy and strings of chillies reference the ingredients used in Diptyque’s fragrances. Instore a recreation of the films pivotal Photo Booth acts as a moment for customers become part of the film by playing with props that hark back to Amelie’s story.
